The tasks, duties and powers of the Academic Council shall be as follows:-

(a) To determine the curriculum of the subjects to be studied, researched and trained under the University and all levels of education , reviewing academic and research works,

(b) determining the type of examination,

(c) determining the eligibility and number of students for admission,

(d) ) Formulating research policies and approving research programs,

(e) Evaluating educational programs,

(f) Determining teaching and research standards,

p>(G) To advise the Executive Council on academic matters,

(H) To perform other functions as specified.
